Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-01

These Terms govern your use of iSpot, a software service operated by Cédric Bürgin (Switzerland). By creating an account, joining a workshop, or subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these Terms.

Seller

iSpot is operated by Cédric Bürgin, an individual seller based in Switzerland. Contact: contact@ispot.work. When you purchase a paid plan, you contract with us for the service itself; payment is handled by our reseller Paddle (see below).

Description of service

iSpot is a software service that helps companies organize and quickly locate physical tools inside workshops, factories and garages.

Accounts & security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials and workshop access codes confidential. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Your workspace

Each company workspace is logically isolated. Administrators manage members, content and access codes. The company retains ownership of the data entered by its members.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service for unlawful purposes, upload illegal or infringing content, attempt to bypass workspace isolation, reverse-engineer the service, or disrupt its operation.

Payment & subscription terms

Paid plans (currently the Pro Plan at 9.99 CHF/month) are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. Prices are shown on the Pricing page and may change with prior notice; existing subscriptions keep their current price until the next renewal after a price change. Applicable taxes (VAT/sales tax) are added by Paddle based on your billing location. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and access to Pro features continues until then. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Paddle as Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. This means Paddle is responsible for the payment transaction, invoicing, tax collection and remittance, and refund processing, in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).

Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy for details and instructions on how to request a refund through Paddle.

Intellectual property

The iSpot brand, software and content remain our property. You retain all rights in the data and photos you upload; you grant us a limited license to host and process them to provide the service.

Service availability

We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" during the pilot phase, without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice in case of serious breach.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
